Promoting Volunteerism

Blackbaud believes investing in volunteerism is good business. In addition to making a positive impact on the community, we also gain first-hand knowledge of the sector we serve. We offer a variety of programs to encourage employees to get involved. We know, once they get involved, they’ll be hooked.

One of our most popular benefits is Volunteer for Vacation, which allows employees to earn additional vacation days as a reward for donating their time. This benefit gives people the flexibility to find a perfect match for their interests and skills while encouraging hands-on involvement. 

We also host an annual volunteer fair, during which we invite nonprofits to meet with employees during the day to promote volunteer opportunities. Rachel and Sally in Corporate Relations & Philanthropy also work with teams throughout the company to identify service projects and with individuals interested in using their professional skills on a nonprofit committee work or board service.

For those nonprofits unable to attend a volunteer fair, we also have an email box where you can submit an opportunity to be listed in our volunteer “job bank.” Please let us know your organization name, location, date of opportunity, and specific opportunities to volunteer.
